Why Dojunto is Worth Exploration.

Why Dojunto ?

Infomashup adds the visual perspective to a story itself.  It adds an element of a scene to a story.  To a topic.  The viewer, the reader, the consumer of the information is looking at a landscape of information.

The initial reaction to a headline, a title, an intro to any media when engaging it, is, 'What is it about?' Where can I connect it to the world I know.

In a Infomashup Mashup, that information isn't one headline or single perspective talking you through a particular angle of a story.  It is a scene of information. A scene that sticks in your memory.

When looking at a scene, the eyes dilate and scan, taking in information consciously and peripherally.  The whole picture in not there linearly, the viewer is not led down a path. They are engaging in decision making.  They are presented with a conjunction of facts. One with many paths. Some winding, some weaving, many leading to just beyond what the reader, the viewer knows.

It is this multi information culture that naturally feeds and leads the reader / viewer in a realistic exercise around and through a tapestry of presented opportunities enhancing their understanding.

The importance of this evolution is its mimicking of the way life is.  Opportunity presents us many decisions.  The mind is trained to see and deal with the surface of activity and pursue and find place within that activity.

It is my expectation that this will engage more the right brain’s natural ability to deal with complexities in patterns and association, while keeping facts in perspective engaging people in a whole brained reading/viewing/learning exercise.

So the goal is to give people the opportunity to be a little more informed. To do this by giving them the tools to see the ‘big picture’, to add meaning to the things they are interested in, by giving those things context.

Maybe people will even appreciate things more, when they explore how things connect.
